This backflow preventer is an accessory typically available for a Safety Mfg. drench hose.  The component measures 2-3/8" (60.325 mm) long. Both ends feature female threading of 3/8-18 NPT. The component is a dual check with an atmospherical vent type of backflow preventer and is fabricated of chrome-plated brass.
